8月26日,江門中微子實驗(JUNO)勝利完成2萬噸液體閃爍體灌注并正式運行取數。歷經十余年籌備建設,該實驗成為國際首個運行的超年夜規模、超高精度中微子專用年夜科學裝置,試運行首批數據顯示其關鍵機能指標周全達標或超預期。

該探測器位于廣東江門地下700健康住宅米處,可探測53公里外臺山、陽江核電站的中微子,以超高精度測量其能譜。焦點為2萬噸液體閃爍體中間探測器,置于地下實驗年夜廳水池中心,由直徑41.1米不銹鋼網殼支撐,搭載有機玻璃球、近4.5萬只光電倍增管等關鍵部件,通過探測中微子與液閃感化的閃爍光開展研討。

相較于國際同類實驗,其測定中微子質量排序不受地球侘寂風物質效應等干擾,還將顯著晉陞3空間心理學個中微子振蕩參數精度,未來可解決中微子質量排序等粒子物理嚴重問題,并助力太陽、超新星等中微子前沿研討。

該實驗由中科院高能所主導,17國74家科研機構近700人參與,設計壽命30年,后期可升級為世界最靈敏無中微子雙貝塔衰變實驗,以探測中微子絕對質量、檢驗其能否為馬約拉納粒子,推動粒子物理、天體物養生住宅理等領域發展。一起配合組發言人表現,此舉是衝破性進展,將助力解答無毒建材物質日式住宅設計與宇宙本質的基礎問題。
